Dom
At the risk of sounding all gushy and girly (way passed that, sorry) - that was truely amazing. It was lovely to meet you, and I thank you for sharing such a personal insight with your music.
I am such a bloody idiot with total tunnel vision - you have a very creative soul - and yet you seem so scientific, I never would have guessed that this was another side to you, and such a beautiful one. It gives one a glimpse of the hidden depths...Previously seen through your humour, compassion and sensitivity; your level of expertise and professionalism is also very impressive.
You have been hiding your light under a bushel!
Thanks again, Domenico.
p.s. can I have your autograph? I promise not to stalk you from Africa....

Boy am I ever glad I got the soundblaster card and the stereo speakers when I order my computer.
Dom,
I am truly impressed by your talent. I don't know enough about music to be a critic, (I can't even tap my toes in time to a beat, and that was before MS) but, for me, that piece really seemed to capture the fleeting beauty of sunset. The choral track really gives it an ethereal quality that goes to the mystery of nature. I'd love to hear the entire piece.
Thanks for sharing.

Wow, thanks for your comments, everyone.
I've never had a music lesson, but always had a powerful urge to create, so I bought a synthesiser when I retired in the early nineties and began experimenting. Using a computer as a recording studio, (yes, via MIDI), I wrote 40 pieces – each between 10 to 15 minutes long – and I always wished I could get a full orchestra to play them. Well now I have an entire philharmonic imprisoned on my hard drive, and the daunting task of rewriting them using just my left thumb and a touch pad. I've completed four since Christmas, and that's why I'm not around quite so much on this forum.
Once again, thanks, and please feel free to stalk me,

I would love to download this piece of you on my ipod, Dom. Is there a way to do that, and equally as important, would you mind?

Nice to meet you!
Of course you do realise that you have set such an impossibly high standard now that I can't compare so will just have to not make a video!
