Nice_flow,
I can't believe that nobody here (Québec) is going to do something (IR). Like my wife said, "laisse tomber la poussière" and in one year everybody will have access to it. Usually she is always right (she is a women). I hope she is right on that one!

It does take courage for a doctor to do this. I witnessed the wrath of the establishment when the hospital in BC stopped a doctor from doing more treatments. We have collected 100s of names and email addresses of people to offer this doctor a show of support for this courage.
I am shocked this hospital would not have come out and said "look here -- we are performing the first treatments of this kind in BC!" Both patients are doing marvelously well and the hospital shuts down further treatments?
Me and my twisted veins sit back in puzzlement and disappointment...

He did only 2 people? Come on, that makes no sense, He stopped because of the establishement? What establishement are you talking about, neuros ?, professional order of IRs or Government. If you have already mentionned it in previous post, I'm sorry I miss it.happy_canuck wrote:stopped a doctor from doing more treatments.

The thought was initially City Hall at 10am, then others thought Art Gallery at 11 am -- personally, why not just attend when and where you can? But, I was told off for having that thought publicly... I can see the point of a big crowd, but isn't the idea also to raise awareness? Two times/locations means more passers-by will get handed a flyer or read a sign.PCakes wrote:Hi HC.... off topic for a minute.. Brightspot and myself are trying to clear up the May 5 - Vancouver Demonstration location? One site says 'Vancouver Art Gallery'..the other 'City Hall'.. neither of us are on facebook.. any idea? ..thanks p
So, we likely won't have a unified show of support in Vancouver, but maybe two impassioned but separate shows of support.
I think anything anyone can do will be a positive step forward. I even called for people to put a big CCSVI sign in their window or on their lawn if they can't attend.
Alas, I'll be in on holiday and won't get to be there...

The hospital pulled the plug -- probably from pressure from "above" -- whatever that may be.BELOU wrote:He did only 2 people? Come on, that makes no sense, He stopped because of the establishement?
