The head in upright position pain will lessen each day, but it takes awhile for the neck muscles to get used to the stents. Jeff has some shoulder pain this week, as the muscular tension seems to be moving south from his neck. It's relieved with tylenol and heat. The neck and shoulders will have some inflammation issues for a bit. Jeff's had pain from this procedure...but it's not MS pain. And he knows that this shall pass. It took a long time for your lack of venous drainage to manifest as MS...it will take time to heal.
Hang in there, Marie! Better days ahead,

Thanks GG!! I will hope for that so far I hurt quite a bit...Marie! Wow. I wish you a speedy recovery from the surgery and an end to the MS
Yeah tylenol and percocet . It is not unbearable it is just annoying when you want to leap off the table and be well at long last....Was anything like aspirin used to help lessen the headache? nice to know Sharon & I are next week and getting the jitters heart racing etc
The team at Stanford is amazing! And remember you don't have to have surgery next week, you can go home and talk to Doc about what you learned. There is nothing wrong with getting MRV information and letting it settle a little before deciding to take action. I honestly ordinarily would be that kind of person, but my blockage was so clear cut I felt certain already.
I am glad----hmmm maybe not GLAD, but maybe relieved, to know this is the same. I am surprised itis not better today than it is. However it s getting better every day......i gotta stop typing though... that is kinda like not talking really hard for me........LOLJeff has some shoulder pain this week, as the muscular tension seems to be moving south from his neck. I'm not offering medical advice, I am just a patient too! Talk to your doctor about what is best for you...
