Hi Dr S. can you clarify, please is the morning coffee from 8:30 or from 9:30 to 10? I think you said the former and the schedule says the latter on the website.
http://ccsvisymposium.com/ms-patients
Also, looks like the Annette Funicello food service for that break has been funded (was just informed!). Sure hope the start time is 8:30 so we have time to get snacks and chat with the doctors!!!! but please clarify and notify the webmaster for us.

coffee could be from 830-945.
i will be there at 830!
this is all a work in progress and i am better at lecturing that planning lectures, better at caring for patients than caring about coffee breaks, so bear with me during my evoluation.
I remember last year putting that meeting on on six weeks notice. getting people to travel around the world to participate on short notice and flying by the seat of my pants.
this year we have an organizing committee, a three day conference instead of one day, and a bigger more ambitious program.
its at least three times as hard as the one day
but we will all survive wont we.

I hope you know how much your hard work is appreciated.
I sent an email in through the "Contact us" page, letting CCM know that the time was wrong and needed fixing.

Is anyone interested in a TIMS Happy Hour at the Crowne Plaza hotel bar/restaurant after the Patient Education Day ends?
I'm already meeting two friends afterward, but the more the merrier, yes?
Edit: Sorry if this idea has already been proposed--if so, can someone please point me to the right page or thread? TY

				Dr S.
it takes a village. we are all there for you, and so very appreciative of the generosity of AAC in making the patient's day free to attend. Hope we can all meet at 8:30. and happy hour after too!
I have just heard confirmation that Annette Funicello's Research fund for Neurological Diseases will be sponsoring a fresh fruit, green tea buffet to accompany the coffee as a way to demonstrate their interest in supporting research into CCSVI and thanking you for putting on this program for us.

Terrific! Hopefully, lots of us will want to meet.
Does anyone have any ideas on how we could make this happen? Perhaps an announcement at the beginning and end of Patient Day that tells everyone the name of the bar/restaurant where the folks from TIMS will be meeting? Cece thought of making TIMS name tags, but I don't know if she was able to follow through with the idea.

Broadway 49 is the hotel bar. Basserie is the restaurant but it has fixed booths. The bar looks like it's the type of place we should go.
It will be quite the scene when upwards of 100 pwMS and their caregivers arrive. There are many more facebookers coming on than tims-ers.

				Hi Pam,
I was hoping to meet you at this symposium. Hubby & I are arriving on the 14th from 2 different directions, to take in the patient day. My procedure with Dr. Sclafani is on the 18th. Doug (hubby) works in Africa, so I'm hoping he has time for a haircut in Frankfurt on his way - otherwise.... look for the wooliest looking Canadian there... LOL Happy hour sounds like a great idea!
