Blood Thinners & Stents

Wouldn`t Blood Thinners & Stents cause to much blood flow to the brain?ie Plavix?Be carefull of this surgery.Hollys spirt is with everyone. I just wonder why she needed 2 surgerys.I hope what they found or did will be a cure or relief.Take care everyone think positive.

I had two also. You have to remember, he was seeing things that have never been looked at before and saw some weird stuff. I went back twice for that very reason. The first time he saw something he didn't know what to do with, so after he consulted and got some more experience, he went back in and got it.
I don't have any input into the thinner questions. I know that BP doesn't seem to play a role either. Like Bob said, that stuff will probably come out of the trials.

So sorry about your loss.
About Plavix and stents. I will post some websites for
you in your PM that I am sure will be of some help to find
the answers you seek.
Double anti-platelet therapy is a very real issue
and causes a great deal of concern and conflict amongst the specialists. There is no consensus at all at this time about the drug
therapy needed following PCI procedures.
Alot depends on the type of stent and most importantly
the coating. I have read the field stopped useing stents from a high
of around 85pc to 90pc down to almost half that number a couple of
years ago because of rising concerns and issues.
