OMG go straight to the er!

I was scanned last week and have 30-40% stenosis in my left jug. I called my gp just to let him know. He has given me referrals to vascular surgeons without hesitation.
Well I just got a call back from a frantic triage nurse telling me if I "have any problems go to the nearest er". Since they are unfamilar with ccsvi I just said "ok" but I wanted to burst out laughing.
I think this will be a teaching moment.
I wish our neuros felt the same way.

I think you should document this with a Lawyer, so that if they refuse treatment you can seek some legal action as If a Triage nurse got so alarmed then obviously thereis something wrong in her eyes and experience and YOU Need treaatment.

KC why dont you just go to the er telling them of pain bla bla
Just to put it on them and then they may correct the steosis

The reason NOT to just go to the ER and then have a doctor fix the blockage is that he might not look for all the components of CCSVI!
Remember, more than half of Dr. Simka's patients also had a valve problem. That's not something that's easily caught without using IVUS.
