The Multiple Sclerosis Research Center of New York (MSRCNY), together with the International Multiple Sclerosis Management Practice (IMSMP), today announced that results from its Intrathecal Methotrexate Treatment in Multiple Sclerosis study have been published in this month's issue of Journal of Neurology.

This is really interesting bit of info squiffy.

What happens next? as in when will they use it in patients?

Is it possible to have a look at the whole study data?

Daisy3, in case you want to know some first hand experiences, marcstck and bestadmom have both had this treatment (maybe others?).

This is interesting. My neuro mentioned it to me a few months ago but honestly I was too chicken to consider it. His personal experience with it was not great so I just wasn't comfortable with the idea since my progression is so slow and I am able to still work with my disabilities.

Are we talking about injections into the spinal cord at the site of the lesions? What are the risks?
