How do you do what the <a> tag does?
<a href="www.xxxxxxxxxxx.com">This doesn't work, that's for sure</a>
Because I notice that people here attach links to text..

HTML is not enabled in forum posts due to security reasons. Post formatting is accomplished using BBCode instead. Please see the
BBCode FAQ which has discussion of the various text formatting options available for the forum.

Great, thanks NHE. I did try this but I used quotation marks..
I think you mentioned it in a reply to me before but I lost the post..
