I am curious, all my symptoms seem to pop up within a period of about two weeks, my neurologist was surprised at how fast my condition was deteriorating... is it normal for all your symptoms to pop up at once or do they usually appear after a long period of time?

Looking back I would say the only possible signs I had would be my sensitivity to the he and my memory. The heat has always made me sluggish or fatigue, and I've always felt had a really bad short-term memory, I would get up and leave the room only to find myself standing in the middle of the hallway wondering what the hell I was doing... about four years ago I had a really bad case of Mono, so I'm suspicious that the Mono virus ( forget what it's called...) might have had something to do with this but the timing just seems weird... Have not found a specialist yet to ask detailed questions.

It seems like my symptoms should have been popping up over a longer period of time, rather than within two weeks, any thoughts?Thanks!

like you i had some hints before hand but in my case they were demonstrably linked to b12 deficiency and i had really no idea how serious a game i was playing with that vitamin being low.

i think i was diagnosed about 9 days into my dx attack. the process went on a bit of a fast track because i was supposed to be traveling overseas any day.

to me what seems to have set it all off was a bad snowboarding headsmash sans helmet.

i regard it as a 'tipping point' or 'last straw' sort of thing that set off a whole cascade through a basically weak state of health. it just wasn't obvious until the last thread was broken.

obviously there are different kinds of ms but that was my experience anyway!

Sorry for the late reply, but I suppose I will just see what my neurologists says tomorrow, it seems like there are just so many different factors that can affect symptoms and their progress, but I appreciate you sharing your story with me, thanks!
