It is United Way Season in Canada. If you or someone you know would like to make a donation to Direct-MS by way of the United Way, our charity business number is 868267568RR0001. Every dollar received will go entirely to CCSVI treatment research.

From my understanding advertising, especially when it benefits the individual asking for money, is not allowed on this site.

NO advertising is allowed on the message boards, period. If you like a product, you can tell us about it. But if you gain financially from selling said product, your posts will be deleted and you will be banned from the site without warning. Thank you for your understanding of this simple rule.

scorpion if you object to direct-ms' post could you please provide a clear response to the content of the post, rather than posting sarcastic remarks, which fall under the category of personal attack? thank you.

Personal attacks, which can consist of slightly veiled innuendo or sarcastic comments aimed at the poster as opposed to the content of the post, are not tolerated at This is MS. We of course reserve the right to ban or suspend any member who violates this rule.

I note that in the sticky "making CCSVI charitable contributions" we have Direct-MS listed as a "beneficiary" for donations. I certainly would not want to see Direct-MS banned from this wonderful site, and I believe that the posting regarding United Way is purely an addendum to the existing sticky to remind benefactors that if they intend giving to the U/W then they can also direct funds to Ashton Embrey's charity.

To add to this further, I would like to get information from Direct-MS regarding paycheque deductions to their Charity - I currently give to the MS Society of Canada as a payroll deduction, but this is going to change once the current term ends !!!!

Can Direct-MS please provide me and others with similar thoughts on how we can arrange payroll deductions to their charity. Thanks.

I think this is the right idea!

you are correct welshman, direct-ms is a listed beneficiary. however, my understanding of the intent of TIMS, is *not* that it will provide a platform from which beneficiaries may solicit donations to their own causes. NHE, any comment?
