Confused Fish vs no Fish
Confused Fish vs no Fish
I was planning on eating herring everyday for the inflammation benefits and possible healing for the nerves. However, there is conflicting views that MS is caused by mercury poisoning. Is the risk of eating fish everyday outweight the idea of mercury poisoning being the cause of MS?
Yeah looks like the herring im eating is one of the fishes lower in mercury, plus it says its wild caught. So I think i'll give it a try, I think it could definitely give great benefits.LR1234 wrote:I think if you eat wild fish from the Pacific sea (or is it the Atlantic Sea???)
Well apparantly they are the most healthy and have the least amount of mercury. I will look up to see which one it is unless someone else knows???
i think if the fish had a say they wouldn't be bioaccumulating heavy metals from fossil fuel combustion fallout in the first place

Carnivore fish (like tuna) are the worst purely because they accumulate the mercury from smaller fish, day in day out.
Mercury is totally uselss to the human body and is extremely toxic to nerves. Once in the body mercury is notoriously difficult to remove. It accumulates in the organs, including the brain and also fat tissue. The problem is that when chelating agents such as alpha lipoic acid are used to flush it from the body it typically becomes mobilized from the fat and travels to the organs making the situation worse.
This is not one of those health food fads. Never, absolutely never eat tuna.
