HiCy Success Stories

Post by Looking88 »

I am having trouble tracking down the long term success stories of HiCy.
Most of the HiCy participant blogs only go for a year and then stop.

Maybe people would like to use this thread to share any HiCy success stories they know about?

Thanks,

Hi Looking,

I am about to start the Hic at Rush assuming my insurance goes thru.
It seems sort of silly for them to spend nearly 100,000 a year between drugs and hospital visits , and turn down this potential avenue for future good health. My Doc says the next option would be Gilenya for symptomatic control, there's 48 grand a year.
Anyway rant over, I agree, I don't know where people drop off to. I hope it's good place.

I ahd the good fortune to be introdiced to patient number 3 from Rush. She's now 5 years out. Feels great has no signs of disease activity, either on scan or otherwise. The last question I asked her was would she do it again, and she answered with a very hearty YES, In a heartbeat. I hope to have lunch with her this coming week, so if you have questions you would like me to ask, send 'em my way.

Best to you..
Colleen

May I ask: how disabled was she before the treatment?

Thank you :)
