Hopes for Reversing Age-Associated Effects in MS Patients

"For individuals with MS, this means that in theory regenerative therapies will work throughout the duration of the disease. Specifically, it means that remyelination therapies do not need to be based on stem cell transplantation since the stem cells already present in the brain and spinal cord can be made to regenerate myelin -- regardless of the patient's age."

HI george my name is seeva from sydney. i have send a mail to DR.RAUTHAN bangalore regarding HSCT treatment for my m.s. but after seeing my age over 62years old he cannot do the transplatations for me because i am over 60 years old.same think inAUSTRALIAN DR who done few stemcell treatment doesnot take any m.s patients over 55years old. so age is one of the factor to do the HSCT for m.s. you know any other part of the world does HSCT treatment older patients
