can anyone recommend a neuro at foothills?- mine seems to be power tripping and down right rude-- the neuro knows their stuff but I think we deserve compassion also? anyone ever changed their neuro?

I don't need sympathy from my doctor! I want him to know his stuff and give me the best possible treatment. A sympathetic doctor who doesn't know their stuff is worthless. But, you certainly want a doctor who will answer your questions and return your calls in a professional manner.

I've switched a couple of times and if you're unhappy with who's treating you, find someone who's more compatible. My first neurologist was preoccupied and her office was totally unprofessional. It's not a good sign when you can't even get a hold of the physician-on-call during a relapse after hours! My second neuro was good, though his bedside manner was a bit to be desired. I now see an MS specialist (I moved) who is not only compassionate, but is brilliant to boot. Took me awhile, but I finally found a good fit.
