Genzyme, a Sanofi company, announced today that Health Canada has approved Lemtrada (alemtuzumab) for the management of adult patients with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS), with active disease defined by clinical and imaging features, who have had an inadequate response to interferon beta or other disease-modifying therapies........ I'm currently taking Avonex, but it's not working. Had a relapse and/or my symptoms are worsening. The MS clinic has recommended I try Lemtrada. Does anyone have experience with it? I know it's newly approved for Canada but reading clinical trial results lacks personal touch, lol.
