My question is...has anyone on here been diagnosed with Devic's ? (I know there are several here with Devic's, but not me.) I know the symptoms can be similar to MS, HOWEVER, lesions hardly ever show up on brain MRI, but they do show up on spinal MRI and lumbar puncture. Im wondering why my neuro wouldn't exhaust all possibilities with me and not just say " you don't present to me as someone with MS". (If she did not test for a possible vitamin B12 deficiency, it is almost malpractice… certainly, negligence.)

Sooo, I am going back to my GP and requesting a C-spine MRI and possibly lumbar puncture to try to get to the bottom of this. (Please ask your GP to order the several tests necessary to rule out a vitamin B12 deficiency.)

I went to the optometrist yesterday to have my eyes/optic nerve checked out and all appears normal. So why the blurry vision? (Forgive me – I know I have become a nag. Blurry vision is a symptom of B12 deficiency.)

I am at such a loss and just want to feel normal again.

My journey started in Feb with burning feet, numbness all over, dizzyness, recent blurry vision in right eye and just an overall feeling of unwell.
