Pregnant with ?ms symptoms

My symptoms started about 16 months ago, about 9 months after my first son was born. At first it started off with a burning pain in my right big toe that eventually spread to tingling throughout my whole right foot. The tingling came and went and didn't bother me too much. About 9 months ago I developed tingling in my right hand as well as my foot, I finally worked up the courage to visit my GP and she thought the tingling was being caused by anxiety brought on by post natal depression. Went on zoloft and saw a psychologist, tingling again went away for a little while but came back again on and off. Tingling usually last for about 2 months (on and off during that time) and then goes away completely for 2-3 months. 4 months ago I found out I was pregnant with number 2, not long after finding out the tingling started again. The tingling is not 24/7, if I am busy, preoccupied or walking around I don't feel it. I usually wake up with no tingling but as soon as I start thinking about it I feel it start again. In the last month or so I have developed patchy areas of weird sensation, also in my right leg. My sensation in these areas is 100% normal, hard to explain but the skin just doesn't feel 'normal' these sensations also come and go during the day. I went to see my GP again last week and she wanted me to have a brain MRI done but went I went to book it in they wouldn't do it until I'm in my third trimester of my pregnancy (another 10 weeks away) and since my symptoms have been quite stable my GP was ok with this. I have never had any abnormal sensations on the left side of my body, it is always on the right. Sorry about all the rambling but I have myself convinced that I have MS (probably making my anxiety symptoms worse) and just not sure if these symptoms actually do sound like ms or not. Thanks in advance to anyone who reads my novel, any advice would be appreciated

Hi Noody,
Welcome to ThisIsMS. Your symptoms could be caused by many things. However, it sounds like you're describing peripheral neuropathy. Lyndacarol has some good posts that discuss that. http://www.thisisms.com/forum/undiagnos ... ml#p227848 Moreover, due to your recent pregnancy, you might look into issues related to that such as nutrient depletion. Vitamin B12 deficiency, which Lyndacarol lists in her post, can cause neuropathy symptoms. If you're found to be deficient, then you might want to inquire about getting your son tested as B12 deficiency in newborns is known to cause developmental problems.

Diet is the key to healing disease. Eating lots of raw fruits and vegetables gives the body the vitamins and minerals it needs to fight disease. Dr. Bergman explains treatment for autoimmune disease in the video. It consist of eating organic raw fruits and vegetables. If you do juicing you can get a higher concentration of the nutrients in your body in a shorter period of time.
