Happy with my appt today!

So the last appt I had, I "appeared" to be "normal" because I had taken my pills and visible symptoms were masked. So today, I did not take my meds before going to the dr and I was a trainwreck! I felt like I was being dismissed as nothing was wrong so I wanted him to see what happened to me when I didn't take them. He was in shock I think. Completely baffled and had no idea where to go next but was concerned with how much worse I was since I first seen him this spring. So he suggested that I go to University of Michigan.
Yay!!
And he had tried to get me a script for Lyrica in the past but my insurance wouldn't give it to me because I had no diagnosis calling for it. So I asked if I could try the neurontin instead and he was all for it. And amazingly, it helped with the feeling in my legs. Once I got my meds in me, i have to say that is the best my legs have felt since spring! I was sooo happy.
So I'm excited about seeing a specialist and figuring this out.
It was awful tho. My speech and thought process has never been that bad. Actually, other than an occasional slur of one word, I've never talked like that. But of course, I always take my meds so I never know what all is being masked.
I plan to keep everyone updated.
Oh we also went over the lab results that he had sent out to Mayo clinic and everything was normal. No signs of any neoplastic process going on. I believe there was also a few vitamin levels in there too that were all normal. A vitamin E, B1, and D. So he is at a loss.
