Hi ya'll! I'm new to this site.

I'm Jesse and my mom's name is Gail. She has been battling MS since 1997. I wanted to share her story for support.
Gail is A DO-ER. A GIVER. A FIGHTER. A SUPPORTER. A MOTHER. A FRIEND. A CARETAKER. A PROVIDER. A ROLE MODEL. This is her story:
Thank you for taking the time to learn about my mom's strength and dedication!

Really it is very hard news for you and also for us. My mom has no MS in her body. i would like to give thanks to God for this. She is a healthy woman as she maintains her diets.

Do you have any tips and ideas for a healthy balanced diet? With her MS she is very 'set in her ways' and doesn't take to suggestions very well. I have tried getting her on a better diet but she can't let go of her sweets. She can eat a whole bag of hershey kisses by herself in 2 days. She eats ice-cream, pop tarts, powered donuts and fast food and I KNOW this is contributing to her not feeling well. She full-time in a wheelchair now so she get 0 exercise so her diet is KEY. Please help! Your advice is VERY appreciated!

hi jesse, sounds like you've got an uphill battle there
sadly, you can't necessarily do much to help someone who doesn't want to be helped.
what are the healthiest foods that she likes?
