My fingernails are (longitudinally) groovy, and that's not groovy.
What does this mean ?
Thanks,

sounds like something's amiss. there are lots of pages online about what various nail quirkinesses mean.
my fingernails used to be pitted. when i was at my worst, they would partially detach from the base. when i get too lazy with my regimen for long enough, i can count on a warning pit to appear. what's your regimen been like lately?

I had longitudinal ridges when I was on LDN. My fingernails grew faster and harder. I think a lot of calcium intake had the a similar effect.

The most obvious cause is a heart condition.
Worth getting this checked out before looking for anything else.
You may also find that the nails are weaker along the ridge lines (Mine still are and that is almost 15 years since teh bypass operation).

After seeing this, I feel good about my nails.
I do still want to know what is
causing the ridges.
