Any thoughts...

Hi all,
Has anyone have any thoughts on the following...
I have been diagnosed 15 years, tried all sorts of things and consider myself to be fairly knowledgeable on many subjects related to MS. My most problematic symptom is gait/leg mobility, I can walk, slowly, for about 1/2 mile before things get too much of an effort and my legs stiffen so much that I need to stop - muscle fatigue plays a big part in my daily symptoms. While at work a couple of days ago I was having a fairly 'bad' day with my legs, they seemed stiffer and heavier than usual, however I had a physio appointment which I attended and after receiving an 'isolated' neck massage (i.e no other parts of the body were massaged) my legs seemed great, light and very easy to move. Ive received numerous different types of massage, acupuncture, cranial sacral therapy, alexander technique etc etc and none of them seemed to have such an effect. While getting the massage my legs felt as they do when I feel 'L'Hermittes' in that it felt like an electric current running through them and also felt 'jumpy'. Like I said I understand MS alternative therapies as Ive been trying them for over a decade but I was very surprised by the improvement as it was purely the neck which was massaged. I know some people may suggest blood flow through the IJV's but Im not sure if that would provide such an instant benefit, possibly the tension in my neck stops signals going down my neck and spine?? Like I said Im hoping that some of you MS experts out there might have a few thoughts.
thanks a bunch
