I wrote up a new blog post on the discovery of lymph vasculature in the CNS--

The theories of immune privilege of the CNS and EAE as a model of MS were both developed/created 70 years ago.
And they remained theories for too long. Time for some changes!

Yes. Now that the neuroscience world is no longer flat we can begin to hope for some changes such as the neurology equivalent of GPS and that it won't take as long to develop.

I've been reading up on my Lymphology.
Turns out your Lymphatic pulse is 6/min at rest and up to 18/ min during walking.
If you suffer from Lymphedema your Lymphatic pulse is irregular waves superimposed from other levels, in most no pulsation.
These quotes are from Waldemar L Olszewski and Arnfinn Engeset. The Norwegian Radiumhospital
Also fascinating. If one is given a lung transplant. The body rebuilds lymph vessels across it after 2 weeks.
And the Lymph nodes are "nests" that hold collections/records of the crap they have had to deal with.
Much to learn. Much ground to move forward with.
