Some blood tests back

Got some blood tests back:

No lyme disease
B12 is 583
Folate is 11.7
TSH is 1.88 (thyroid)
Vit D is 35
CBC - everything in normal range except IG which is .08.
Metabolic panel all normal
Celiac test not back yet.

He did not do a Lupus test. Said he tested inflammatory markers and they were normal. Not sure what he tested for this.

In the mean time, I still do not feel good with no discernible cause. My lower back is so painful I can barely do anything. Can't bend over to put on my shoes. Putting on my pants and underwear is difficult. Everything takes me twice as long.

I did nothing to hurt my back and have never had this type of pain before. I have had "twinges" in my sacrum and my neck for several years. However, they did not hurt at all. Just a twinge when I moved either in a certain way. Now the sacrum is so bad I can't do anything active. Can't mow my lawn, play golf, swim with my kids, etc. Arg...I do not like this.

Not feeling well is no fun. What types of doctor's have you seen? What are they saying?

I know EXACTLY what you mean with your lower back. I had the same crap happen to me about 2 years ago.

For me, the pain lasted about two weeks. It was at its worst for about one week. I would just take 2 Advil a couple times a day and it would be tolerable. The only problem is that after the pain stopped I lost ALL function of my left lower leg from the knee down. I could not move my foot at all. Thank god, I was able to recover 100 percent. But it took a few months of rehanging and exercises.

Have you been diagnosed with anything? I am not sure on your story.

best wishes,

Chris

They did not order any mineral tests. All the tests were done with blood draws...does that mean serum?

I have an appointment with a neurologist next month. Yay! I have started to notice some tingling in my lips in the last week, yuck. Even so, after reading posts from others who have severe symptoms I count myself lucky. Just a little tingle. It could be worse and be so numb I drool. Hahaha, told my girlfriend if that ever happens its only because she is so HOT!.

Lol attitude is everything panther haha.

I consider my self "very lucky" as well. My battle has been a cake walk compared to a lot of peoples battle with their MS.
