MRI Results

I haven't been on in a while, as I have been waiting for my MRI and trying to ignore any of my symptoms, sometimes easier said than done.
My GP had ordered an MRI after all the blood work - yes I went back after the typical ordered blood work and got all the "extras" that are always suggested on here. I do have a post somewhere on here with all my results.
Anyways, my GP called me in to discuss my results of my MRI but she really had no idea what to tell me. She basically said, "I really don't know what this means so I am sending you to a neurologist - but don't loose sleep over it." Right.

Anyways, maybe you can all help me understand this report a bit better than my GP was able to.

Findings:
No periventricular lesion is visualized. There are 3-4 tiny foci of nonspecific subcortical matter signal hyperintensity. Tiny focus of non specific signal hyperintensity also noted in the right temporal stem. No brainstem or cerebellar lesion is visualized.
Ventricles, sulci, and cisterns are age-appropriate. No mass lesion or extra-axial fluid collection. Major intracranial flow voids are maintained.
The globes, orbita, regional occeous and soft tissue structures are unremarkable,
Minimal scattered mucosal thickening in the paranasal sinuses. Partially opacified bilateral mastoid air cells. Globes, orbits, regional osseous and sfot tissue structures are unremarkable.

Impression:
There are a few scattered tiny foci of subcortical white matter signal hyperintensity, which are nonspecific and not strongly suggestive of inglammatory demyelination. No periventricular or posterior fossa lesion.

I can see the radiologist does not think this is MS. Do I take that as is or wait for the offical "no" from my neuorologist?

Thanks guys!!

My suggestion, see a neurologist that specializes in MS and have him/her evaluate the MRI.
