Surprising Gabapentin Side Effects

Gabapentin Side Effects:

• Dizziness, vertigo
• Fatigue and or tiredness
• Unsteadiness or incoordination
• Abnormal thinking, anxiety, hostility, confusion, amnesia,
• Depression, suicidal thoughts, mood changes
• Fluid accumulation in feet, edema of face or extremities
• Digestive distress, indigestion, loss of appetite, gas, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea
• Dry mouth, dental problems, gingivitis
• Blurred vision, double vision, unusual eye movements (nystagmus)
• Headache
• Withdrawal seizures (never stop gabapentin suddenly!)
• Blood disorders
• Skin rash (alert your M.D. immediately if this occurs!)
• Upper respiratory tract infections, fever
• High blood pressure
• Palpitations
• Tremor, jerky movements
• Joint pain, joint stiffness, arthritis

This drug made me sick. They gave me too much too soon and I was terribly sick. I'll never touch it again. On a good note..it's a great med for dogs. My dog is on it with Tramadol for her arthritis and it works great.

Gabapentin is the worst drug I've taken. I was taking 800mg 4 times daily along with tramadol. If it wasn't for tramadol I would of fallen asleep on my second dosage. As far as nerve pain relief pain goes I give it a 1 out of 10. It didn't work at all. I'm glad it works for many people but not for me.

Gabapentin makes me tired and forgetful.
