I saw this and my initial reaction was that I want it.
The thought of NO MORE MS - what a freedom that feels.
It seems the ones with the least damage benefitted the most. They didn't focus too much on the chemo but the participants did mention how tough that was - losing hair, the tiredness. Of course this is in early stages - but I would still risk it. No question. Just to get my life back.

Re: 'Can you stop my multiple sclerosis?'
If you've heard very little in the dozen years or so since they started doing these treatments , maybe it's because 1)it doesn't always work 2)sometimes it kills 3) they don't know what they're treating, or why it works, when it does work 4) you have to be young and strong to survive it - they aren't treating anybody over 50.
What you do hear is the same story being repeated every 6 months or so. Like clockwork. Why? My guess is they are just running it up the flagpole again to see if anyone salutes it.

Re: 'Can you stop my multiple sclerosis?'
I thought this was a fresh report - dated 18 Jan on the MS UK Org website. So whilst I have been aware of this treatment it was good to see that it worked for some people. That has to be progress.

HSCT has been working for some people (ie early stage and aggressive MS) for a long time now.

Thanks Cure
It's certainly peaked my interest. I'm going to look into it a little more.
