I know that this area was specifically created to chat about Coimbra's Protocol with High Doses of Vitamin D for autoimmune diseases.

However, I'm writing it only to let you know that Coimbra also has another protocol for people with Parkinson disease. Maybe, some people here have it.

It was developed before the treatment with high doses of Vitamin D.

I don't know the details of this protocol. Only that it consist of High Doses of Vitamin B2 + Abstinence of Red Meat.

With only 3 months of treatment and diet, the patients showed an average recovery of the physical capabilities from 44 to 70%. The best results were found in patients in the first phase of the disease. However, some persons being conventionally treated for a long time also presented improvements of the physical functionalities from 15 to 90% after starting the new treatment.

The results of these studies were reported in the 6th International Conference of Alzheimer and Parkinson Diseases, Sevilha, Spain (May 2003).

Here is a 2014 study by Coimbra only using Riboflavin and abstinense of red meat and poultry not showing any significance for parkinson's swallowing.
Quantitative analysis of swallowing in parkinson“s disease before and after riboflavin
"Conclusion

quantitative measurements made in the movement of organs associated with swallowing showed no significant differences between pre-and post-riboflavin, and red meat and poultry removed."

I would like to see a study showing his D protocol on Parkinson's.

I would like to see a study showing his D protocol on Parkinson's.

Hi mrtmeo,

Thank you for showing me this scientific study.

As far as I know Coimbra made some modifications on how to treat Parkison disease. One of his patients told me that months ago.

He added High doses of Vitamin D3 together with abstinence of red meat and high doses of vitamin B2. However, I guess that he did not publish a scientific paper yet.

If I find something about this subject I will post it here.
