I work in a natural supplement/vitamin shop, and a rep for the company AloeLife came in today and claimed there were studies that their "Aloe Gold" product could somehow "de-calcify" old lesions and help facilitate their healing. She said that whole leaf aloe (as opposed to just the inner fillet) can also prevent new lesions.

I obviously have no idea if this info is true, but ended up googling it, and found this study on mice:

Interesting, though I'd be more interested if the study was on people.

Just thought I'd share. I think my husband will be experimenting with drinking aloe, as it does help me with digestion and stomach problems, so it probably won't hurt.
