My MRI never said where the white matter is located.
They found one lesion in the "right frontal white matter ". Is that peri ventricular??
White matter location? Peri ventricular?
Re: White matter location? Peri ventricular?

Here's a good page discussing basic brain anatomy.titus110 wrote:My MRI never said where the white matter is located.

Here is a slice near the frontal lobe area of the brain.

The dark tissue around the edges is the grey matter and the lighter tissue in the middle is the white matter.
Here's a good MRI image showing the various lobes, white and grey matter, and the ventricles.
