Osteoporosis from Coimbra protocol - iodine and Boron

I see bone loss as one of the side effects of the Coimbra D3 protocol especially, for those that cannot exercise.
Boron is necessary for bone formation according to many studies.
Why doesn't Coimbra try using Boron to help folks with osteoporosis?
I was able to see a bone density improvement with my mom eating 4-6 prunes per day for 3 months.
Prunes are one of the highest in Boron foods.
10 prunes per day reverse osteoporosis

Also, if the thyroid can trigger calcium bone absorption, shouldn't iodine be helpful to the protocol?
Of course, iodine should always be taken with selenium.
