MS diagnosis

Can one have MS with normal mri 's of brain,cervical thoracic and lumbar spine and a negative spinal tap...just based on symptoms over the years?

You cannot be diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis only based on symptoms. There is a diagnostic criteria for MS, The Revised McDonald Criteria. There needs to be signs of the disease, this is done through testing (MRIs, Lumbar Puncture, ect.) and the Neurological exam/evaluation.
