Hey guys, new here. And needing some advice from fellow people whom have dealt with similar issues.
I'm a 26 year old female dealing with daily rt side facial numbness and intermittent left arm numbness/weakness and charley horse pains.
I awoke one night with a dark spot in my vision clearly in my right eye only. But was gone by morning very unusual for optic nueritis.
Anyways the following week I experienced extreme dizziness/facial numbness and had ct, clear. This persisted for about 6 weeks. I became very emotional and upset was super moody and during an extremmely dizzy day i had cognitive issues.
They have lasted, my short term memory feels foggy. And lately been having issues with words.
referred to nuero but had a clean MRI no contrast.
After explaining to my nuero he stated he would suspect ms but my mri had him thrown off and tested me for MANY things that mimic it in my blood work and in a spinal tap.
All negative.
Had a few weeks of no symptoms or at least less severe. Noticed a tightening in my neck and issue swallowing which leads me into an anxiety attack.
Lately, I had a few days the dizziness returned and facial/arm issues.
I see him again in Dec. My family practice Dr seems convinced it could be the start of ms just no lesions yet. Anyone had a similar experience. My gut tells me they are correct, but I have felt such anxiety over being undiagnosed.
The heavy head foggy feeling recently returned and I'm scared for a more serious attack with no answers.

Can you tell us what else he tested for? It could be many things but don't just take his word that everything is fine and everything has been covered.

He tested ms panel, western blog. White blood count indicating infection. And blood tests b12, but d and the whole physical workup blood from my GO. I kept thinking the spinal tap was the answer, the negative mri would be justified. But it yet also was negative. I know something is off, I can feel it and has not left. This started in June. Was extreme at first, less extreme for a while and now I feel somewhere in the middle.

I understand from your post that the blood tests you have had do NOT include a vitamin D test.

I suggest you call your family doctor and request an inexpensive vitamin D blood test called the "25-Hydroxy D." Be sure to ask for your own copy of the test results – it is important to have the actual result numbers. GrassrootsHealth (http://www.grassrootshealth.net) recommends a person's vitamin D level should be at least 40-60 ng/mL.

Or ask the doctor you see in December for this vitamin D test.

Over 1/2 of the American population is deficient in vitamin D. Every system in the human body relies on vitamin D; in other words, a deficiency can lead to ANY kind of symptom.

The so called "MS panel" is not a test for MS. It's a test for other things with symptoms like MS so they can be excluded. I have no idea what they would have checked for so the results might be interesting in themselves.

The white blood cell count could be high or low and indicate an infection. The issue, obviously, is what infections have they tested for. You can't make up that result so you question should be "what am I infected with and are you going to treat me". You should have blood, urine and bowel tests. Come back if you need help with suggestions.
