Stem Cells, Ocrelizumab, anything else on the horizon?

Hi all! Kind of new, kind of down, and was wondering if any new research was out there to give me a little hope in finding a cure for MS.

Are stem cells any closer to really being the game changer I here so much about? Ocrelizumab sounds nice, but seems limited since it can only help RRMSers to a certain degree.

Anything else on the horizon I should keep my eye on? Thanks for the help!

"if any new research was out there to give me a little hope in finding a cure for MS"

Unfortunately the answer is still 'no' but the good news is that there are many options/protocols that do seem to help but the 'catch' is that they are not in pill form.

Lots of non-mainstream things to consider: Biotin (particularly for ppms), Dr Coimbra's vitamin D protocol, and CCSVI. There are several facebook pages for each of these.

I'm interested in ongoing trials for masitinib, mostly known for ALS but also for PPMS
