Has anyone had the TVAM procedure at Autonomic Specialists in California? what was your outcome?

Hi,
No, I haven't but I understand the role of the autonomic immune system in nerve conduction. However it's probably more complex than just saying an angioplasty fixes the problem.
The autonomic system (sympathetic and parasympathetic immune system) is integral to the messaging for smooth muscles but the muscles that control the movement and flexibility of the spine are skeletal (such as the multifidus).
Improving the blood flow should improve oxygenation but if the damage is ischemic to the skeletal muscle then the loss of ATP will present as very tight skeletal muscles and you'll have to learn how to move them again. I wrote a bit about this here - http://www.mstranslate.com.au/ms-many-s ... y-muscles/
Before you tried a procedure I would look at the degree of skeletal muscle spasticity that your spine displays and try to work on that.
Basic issues are dealing with inflammation that others can talk about. You would also need to improve calcium homeostasis by using supplements like magnesium and/or, if its an issue, strong antispasticity medications like Dantrium.
I'd also undertake a lot of massage particularly doing things that open the shoulder blades like this - . If you open the shoulder blades you will release the nerve bundles that are trapped beneath the shoulder blades that go on to run down the arms. You will need a lot of manipulation from someone who knows what they are doing but it is very relaxing and liberating.
If the spine isn't flexible then the recovery of the autonomic system will be compromised.
It implies you need to do the style of eccentric muscle movement that we see in Pilates and Yoga. You certainly don't have to be guru standard. You just have to have a go.
