Did you consider Kesimpta? The self injections might be easier than getting an infusion.

Also, if you’re not taking Na-R-Lipoate then you might want to add it to your regimen. It seems to do fairly well slowing down atrophy.

Here’s a link to news about a small phase 2 study which found that lipoic acid prevented atrophy better than Ocrevus.

Atrophy appears to be a critical factor.

Atrophy prevention Correlates with cognition.

I'm done with injections. Five years of Rebif is enough :)

Lipoic acid seems promising. I just want to see some phase 3 studies.

I took Avonex for 10 years. A once a month injection of Kesimpta would be no big deal for me.

Dennis Bourdette’s research group at Oregon Health Science University has been studying lipoic acid in MS for roughly 20 years.

Here’s his OHSU profile.

Here’s a link to his papers on lipoic acid.

A phase 3 study is unlikely. Lipoic acid and Na-R-Lipoate are both available as OTC supplements. As such, there’s little financial resources nor incentive for conducting a large multicenter phase 3 trial.
