MS Gym

Post by 81Charger »

Hi all, I came across MS Gym with Trevor Wicken. I'm just curious if any others are doing this & if so how has it been.

Thanks Glenn

never heard of it but may well check it out. need to figure out how to help a friend get more active, and my own situation is not what you'd call optimal. (did lots of pacing and misc strengthening stuff this morning though, while hanging around a dealership for a couple hrs).

I'm going to give it a try, I don't feel very good and feel like I'm getting worse all the time. So I feel it's worth a shot and my hope is if I spend money to join that I will actually do it.

ah ha, money is a dealbreaker unfortunately - for me anyway. i already know that only the buddy system really works in my case!

"I don't feel very good and feel like I'm getting worse all the time"

Exercise is very important, as are other factors such as diet/nutrition and lifestyle. These additional factors should not be ignored especially if you are not doing well. Ultimately all these work hand in hand.

Hi,
I really love what Trevor Wicken is doing with the MS Gym! He looks to have the credentials behind him too:-D

About 6 weeks ago, a friend was wearing an MS WALK sweatshirt, and someone came up to her and told her about Trevor Wicken and the MS Gym. I looked it up and was pleasantly surprised. It's totally set up to do at home. He has a lot of great info being offered. Seriously, everyone should take a look. I was going to post something about the MS Gym when I came across this one. I'm glad someone is doing this for us. His wife has MS too.

There are free videos.

I went ahead and joined the MS Gym. I have improved in my walking already, I've had other people mention that I'm walking better so that's positive. My biggest obstacle is to find the time to do the exercises every night.

a friend and i are starting aquafit next week - getting out of the pool should be hilarious (assuming it's the same as last time i was in a pool regularly).

The MS Gym is really good. Overall I'm better, if I could do it every night I would be even better I think but unfortunately I just don't have the time. I have renewed my membership for this year as well.

Any questions feel free to ask
