Hi,
The EMA (European equivalent of the FDA) has just recommended that Gilenya elevates the risk of congenital deformities to the heart, kidney, bone and muscles in utero. It recommends it is not suitable for pregnant women or women not using birth control . Their view is it doubles the risk compared to the general population.

Worth noting the FDA warned early this year that ceasing Gilenya may worsen symptoms.
