What is Rituxan?
Can someone provide some information on Rituxan? The little I know is that it is a monclonal antibody the targets B-cells. But is it being prescribed off-label, or is it in trials?

hi patientx, for me it was prescribed off label, as I don't think it has been approved for ms yet!! Hopefully it will be in the near future. Rituxan is mainly prescribed for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and rheumatoid arthritis.
Me and my Dr. did discuss the option of sending me to a rheumatoid Dr. because of my lower back pain just in case I did not get the drug.
