Neuroprotective drugs

Hi! Do you take any drugs particularly prescribed for neuroprotection by your neuro? Are there in your knowledge, at all any scientifically proven to serve this purpose?

My neuro goes by the golden rule: if it's not approved by the FDA, he doesn't prescribe it. Then again, he, like doctors, feels that diet has no effect on your health.

Pot for neuro protection. Only thing that seems to work.
