Injecting When you are Sick

Post by LindaR »

I jut got over a very bad cold virus (almost 2 weeks) and since I am on Avonex, I need to take a weekly injection. I wasn't sure if it was okay to inject myself if I am not feeling well so I called my neuro and he suggested that I wait a day or two, which I did. Has anyone every injected when they were sick?

I had a one time experience where I took my Avonex injection about 12 hours or so after I felt a cold coming on. Surprisingly, it was one of few occurrences that I actually felt better after the injection.

I'm learning to breathe under water. It's quite beautiful down here.

I used to think that if I tried, I would drown.
