hyper-reactive (or something like that)

I seem to remember reading a post regarding being easily starttled, but I can't find it. The smallest thing, or often nothing at all, makes me jump out of my skin. Like, I'll think I see something out of the corner of my eye while riding in the car, and I'll gasp and grab the dash, my heart skips a beat then rapid fires for awhile, my eyes are wide open in fear/surprise. Within seconds I realise nothing bad is happenning, and feel very embarassed. My wife usually rolls her eyes and says "oh my God!", she knows I'm being a goof again. This began when my other symptoms started 6&1/2 months ago.
Another new thing is shaky hands. Sometimes for no reason my hands will shake all day, kind like a nervous shake. And if I get worked up about something, they really shake. I got mad about the neighbours 3 dogs barking all day and went over to talk to him. No one was home so I wrote a note asking him to please do something about it. My hands were shaking so bad, it was hard to write the note. It looked like a grade school kid wrote it, or a crazy guy. I shook all day and again the next day when I was telling someone else about it. And my hands are shaking now, damn! (the note worked, I haven't heard the dogs since)
Could these be common symptoms, or am I just turning into a nervous wreck? I take Pantiloc for acid reflux, D3, one aspirin a day (more if needed for frequent headaches), and no other drugs.
