Hi Brian
Thi is what i was e-maild

Hello,
You are in the waiting list for "the liberation operation". The estimated time of the procedure is March 2010.
We will do our best to make the treatment possible earlier, but actually we receive more requests than we can manage in a proper time. I will inform you about exact time of the examinations and potential operation in 1-2 weeks.
Best regards

Brian - that is 4700 euros for the whole deal if 2 stents are needed. 1 stent = 4200 Euro, etc. That includes the scans and consultation.

4700 Euros = 7 048.2057 Canadian dollars on January 11th 2010

Pepe - you asked about the CD from the MRV scan. I got mine when the scan was over - the number on my cd is 5004 / M2 / 2009 - and then the date 7.12.2009.

If you didn't get your wifes CD - maybe you can write dr Hartel and ask him to mail it to you?

How is your wife doing by the way? Is she okay with the inclined bed?

Wanted to alert folks going to Poland of a scam by a Canadian, promising to get folks in to see Dr. Simka right away if you send his company a large amount of money. I deleted 15 of his posts on the FB page. He is being reported to the authorities. The only way to reach Dr. Simka is thru his e-mail-
Dr. Simka is a very conscientious and dedicated doctor-
Please be careful, folks. The weasels start crawling out if they see money and desperation-

for catching and following up on this, cheer. I expect that there will be a lot more scams on-line in the next while. As well, we have already seen some clinics professing to do CCSVI testing (at high prices) though their people are not trained to recognize the various ways that CCSVI presents itself. In the latter case, they probably aren't being consciously dishonest because they truly believe that "it can't be that hard to find occluded veins". However, we have heard in TiMS of many cases of people being misdiagnosed. Perhaps we need to start up a list of scams, suspected scams, and incompetent (with respect to CCSVI) clinics.

Hi Astrid, thank you. I enjoy my name since it is unusual, but most people here insist on adding an A, thinking my name must be Bryan, thus making me a man! LOL :D I am sure that our wait will get shorter as more doctors come on line with the procedure. Brynn

Documentation

Post by fiddler »

Hi RichTar,
No medical documentation has been requested by Dr. Simka. In a way that makes sense, because he is not "fixing MS" per se, but rather testing for and, if appropriate, fixing CCSVI. I suppose if you have some special medical documentation related to tests already performed for CCSVI he might want to see them, but documentation is not a precondition to being scheduled for an appointment.

I also hope that before next year doctors in our country will do the scanning en the liberationtreatment. I think they can do it now, but they have to dare. ( i hope i spell it right, my Englisch is not very good).

And about the name, i now exectly what you mean, at first they think always our son's name is Bryan. But it is like your name, but than with an A in between. ( and it does not sound like Bryan, more like Brian Laudrup, footballplayer from Denmark)
I don't now anyone with this name in Holland.

Astrid
