HI all,

I have my minocycline prescription. (50mg) but I am too scared to start. Anytime I try anything I get such a herx that I am praying to die. I am on 1.0 mg Low Dose Naltrexone which has held me steady for the last year. I started something called Ultra H 3 by Unikey and I am really in a herx. I had to stop for a while.

I hear soo many different protocols for the abx I just don't know what to do. My gp prescribed it to me and he hasn't a clue either. Do you think 50mg every Monday Wednesday and Friday would be a good place to start?

I also have Nutrimedix Cat's claw which is what the antibiotic Cipro is made from. Problem is I got it 3 months ago and I am too scared to try it.

I have been on every cleanse you can imagine and I always get such a major herx. I mean like holding my head in the middle of the night rocking back and forth on the kitchen floor.

It would help soo much if my md knew what was going on.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I took Zithromycin 4 months ago and within 4 hours my whole body relaxed!!! I spent day 3,4,and 5 on the couch.

I've been using minocycline, with no side effects whatsoever (except, perhaps, a better complexion than I have ever had), for a little over a year. I take 100 mg 2x per day, which I believe is the dosage used in that small Canadian trial and the max dosage most docs are willing to prescribe. Hope this is helpful.

kc now posts as kcapozza on http://www.CPn Help.org. She also has changed from minocycline to doxycycline and is doing excellently.

I have been doing doxycycline and zithromax for over 3 months now. My life has changed for the better. Everything is better. I am about to start the tinidazole soon.

I highly recommend it.
