Barb has moved to a new facility where she will be getting physio and long-term care. This would seem to be a step in the right direction because she is now capable of physio-therapy.

Thank you so much for sharing this information, Cece! This sounds very promising, indeed! (From a Do Not Resuscitate order to PT - yes!!)

Is Barb's voice still more audible as noted in the first post after her procedure. I remember her husband conveying that she could only whisper before the procedure. (Hope I got that right).

Is Barb still confined to bed? Or is she in a wheelchair now?

"News on Barb-Patrick Farrell Barb is better again today, her voice is 100% better than yesterday. Had a great visit today and her speech language patholigist is thrilled with her progress. Said it was amazing! Physio continues and Barb's attitude keeps on getting more positive! Go Barbie GO!34 minutes ago · Comment from Patrick"

It is also mentioned in the Facebook comments that her feeding tube is gone but not sure about the morphine.

Here is a woman who was on a bed in a hospital, unable to speak, with a feeding tube and a Do Not Rescusitate order. Now she is speaking, doing physio, no feeding tube, and hopeful again!

edited to add: Pcakes, yes, this had me smilin' again too! :)

Didn't I read that a news crew was documenting her struggle and her trip to the U.S. for treatment?
