Haacke CCSVI Editorial

Post by Shayk »

Hi all

I was happy to see Dr. Haacke's editorial on CCSVI published in Expert Reviews: Neurotherapeutics is open access.

To those who've been keeping tabs on the research there may not be much that's new, but I think it's so nice to see an editorial like this in a broader neuro journal.

For those that don't click through:
“Perhaps it is time to be thinking of a ‘vascular immunology’ focus in the study of neurological disease, an interesting marriage between cardiovascular and neurodegenerative research."
Take care everyone

Thanks for the link. You are correct this is not new research but it is ground breaking to have this in a neuro journal.

He used the phrase "vascular immunology" at the October Glasglow conference too. It is an interesting way of looking at this.

thanks for the early Christmas gift, Shayk :)
love the "vascular immunology" phrase, too...that Dr. Haacke is one innovative guy. Glad he's looking at all of this.
