Men strut their stuff for CCSVI

BARRIE - The CCSVI Foundation of Canada is hosting a men-only fundraising beauty pageant Saturday, Oct. 15 in Barrie.

Held at the Army, Navy, Air Force Club at 7 George St., men will don evening gowns and beach wear for a fun show starting at 7 p.m.
Cost is $25 in advance or $30 at the door.
An auction and silent auction, along with door prizes and entertainment are also happening.
Proceeds will help the organization send a woman to get liberation treatment for Chronic Cerebral Spinal Venous Insufficiency (CCSVI).
For tickets, call Donna at 705-279-2333.
The CCSVI Foundation of Canada was started by Barrie’s Steve Garvie after he had the treatment more than a year ago.
So far, he’s helped 43 people get the life-changing surgery.
Sounds like a good time and, as always, a good cause.
Donations or applications for assistance in getting the CCSVI procedure can be made directly at http://www.ccsvifoundationcanada.org/
