In my lengthy journeys to get a surgeon on board I called large surgical group at cooper hospital nj. I explained my diagnosis stenosis told them I had my mrv results and doppler. First response never hear of mrv (scary) Than they said we operate on cartotid arteries not veins. Then lady got back on phone said does this have anything to do with that crazy ms stuff and that they were not interested hang up. Nice... So easy to get help. ha ha

Alot of vascular surgeons just focus on arteries, jak...the ones who do the veins and are familiar with MRV are interventional radiologists (and some vascular surgeons.) Don't even mention CCSVI until you get an appointment and a consult with the docs. Let your test results do the talking for you.
sorry you got such lovely treatment! Hang in there-
cheer

Dear Cheerleader,

I called a I.R. office yesterday in Texas and they called me back. They
want to watch the various media stories and do some background work, but are possibly open to doing
procedures? Is it permissible at this time?? thanks mangio

They're going to take their direction (in part, at least) from media stories? Are you kidding me?
