This Is MS Multiple Sclerosis Community: Knowledge & Support

Hello everyone! I'm wondering if anyone else has heard that using copaxone 3 times per week is just as effective as injecting every day. I heard this, and quickly dropped 4 of my weekly injections (horrible site reactions, blah blah blah...), but I've always wondered if anyone else has heard this same thing? Thanks in advance for any input!

I've heard of people taking it every other day. I started Copaxone in 2008, when I first began I took it every day for the first 6 months. Now I take it about 3 times a week and I'm doing fine. I had my last MRI in June and I don't have any activity or lesions. The drug companies don't encourage this though but it's your body. Only you know what's best.

My Neuro told me I could take it 3 times a week, that there was a study recently done on it. He didn't go into detail tho.

My neuro recommended every other day when I saw him last year as well. But since I've been doing well on it for the last five years taking it every day, I never tried every other day.
