Dignan,

I've been holding back on this - the Lamotrigine trial is being extended by a few months. You are such a delicate soul that I didn't want to upset you. I still have high hopes for this trial, but the results will be a little longer in coming.

To cheer you up - I'm sure that they'll be some good news (research / drugs trials) soon.

What would really cheer you up is getting together with Jimmylegs. I really think you should give it a try - I've got good vibes about this. Jimmy is beautiful and I'm sure you're not a bad looking guy. Just meet up - that's all I ask. I've never been a supporter of sex before marriage, but am willing to make an exception in the case of you two. Don't waste any further time. What would be sad, is in five year's time you and Jimmy meet up, fall in love etc, and you think to yourself 'why didn't I take Ian's advice in 2008'. She told me that she posted the picture of her in the Greek temple to attract your attention. I stopped her posting the bikini shot as I thought this was going to far. Give her a call - do something. what would you rather be doing? Kissing Jimmy or updating a boring list of MS drugs? Get a life - get Jimmy!

Interesting news about lamotrigine. I hope they see good results with the extension.

I don't know about the rest of your message, except I think you've given everyone named Jimmy a brilliant slogan, "Get a life - get Jimmy!" Are you sure you're not in advertising?

I'm interested to hear about this extension as i am on this trial which is being headed up by Raj Kapoor. Am due to have a follow up visit on 7th March so will ask about this and post any findings.

From a personal view I have always suspected that i have been taking the placebo. In the 18months i have been on it there has been some deterioration albeit v slow. Watch this space.
