I am going out on a limb here in so far as this may be the most stupid question ever posted here.

I am still working in order to take advantage of the insurance benies. However according to neuro, and neuro psych I am overqualified for SSDI and will have no problem with application.

However, per the input and investigation I've done, I pretty much need to be NOT gainfully employed in order for the application to go thru. Then, after acceptance, you can return to work at a prescribed pay scale.

Now, I'm not lazy, but, had I not had such a fabulous reputation for 'significantly exceeding expectations' prior to diagnosis, my employer would not have stuck with me past my expiration date. They've allowed me to continue to adjust my job description to accommodate my decrease in skills, physical and mental.

So, the question is, can you be labelled disabled in any other way except thru Social Security definition?
